Dr. Odhiambo David

Odhiambo David is a Pharmacist with a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), Kenya and Project Management Certificate from University of Washington.

Odhiambo is a health advocate committed to improving access to quality healthcare services and promoting human capital development towards the realization of the sustainable development goals. He believes that leveraging on his professional background, commitment to continuous learning and principle of social responsibility he can move the world a step forward.

He currently works as a Regulatory Affairs Manager, Novartis where he is responsible for coordination of regulatory activities and ensuring registration of medicines in the East African Countries. He is also involved in regulatory policy initiatives through industry association, KAPI where he doubles up as a Board Director (Honorary Treasurer).

Before joining Novartis, Odhiambo served as an Administrative Manager, Kenya Association of Pharmaceutical Industry (KAPI) and Project Associate, Kenya Healthcare Federation (KHF) where he was integral in the day-to-day running and execution of projects.

Odhiambo is co-founder, Ryculture Health and Social Innovation and curator, African Pharmaceutical Network with focus on supporting socio-economic development in the healthcare & pharmaceutical industry through knowledge sharing, best practice modelling and policy shaping engagements in Kenya and Africa respectively.
